Outside of my studio it's raining, and so, of course my door is wide open. I love to watch it rain from up here on the second floor. The birds are still chirping, because they love this little shower, too.

Inside the studio, water is also flowing. I'm trying my hand at watercolor painting. It certainly goes well with the rain, anyhow.

I love working in my studio when it rains - the skylight makes such a wonderful sound. I'm jealous that it's raining where you are - it hasn't made it to my house yet.
Watercolours scare me! Yours look positively lovely. I very much enjoy your recurring red balloons.
I long for rain! I have such a pretty umbrella. Enjoy it!
doing anything with the door open while its raining sounds so comforting. i hope our rainy season gets here soon. your artwork is just lovely.

Rain of inspiration.
My studio is on the second floor, too, and I love having a view into the trees from that level. Birdies!
I love that kind of rain. It's great the way you have a slow shutter speed which makes the rain drops extra big and extra long looking.
